Welcome to my home, Outside of Time! Feel free to leave behind the 'real world' when you come through my door; it is not needed here. Leave the hate and apathy and accept friendship and concern; leave the cold cruelty for the warmth of my cheerful fire. Oh, and you may wish to discard disbelief also, for in my home all things are possible. This is a place of magic and wonder, a place where the fairies still dance, the night is alive with creatures too fantastic for the light of day, and dragons still awe rapt listeners with tales of the world in centuries past. Yes, the talk about the fire is occasionally serious; the 'real world' still waits beyond my door, and its concerns are not gone. I would ask only that the talk in my home is without malice or hate, but that cool reason and care prevail, for from the latter understanding may grow.
So bring a drink of your choice, claim a seat, relax, and enjoy the warmth of companionship and hearth. It is my wish that you take some of each with you when you leave, and return often; whatever walk of live you hail from, know that if you walk with love and good will, you are always welcome here!
The following areas are under construction. Please be patient with me, and come back if the one you want to visit isn't working yet!
There are as many faiths in the world today as there are people to believe in them. You are invited to take a look at my interfaith relations and myths and misconceptions pages, where I seek to open the paths to understanding between members of different spirituallities; at the very least, maybe we will come to know others a little better! (A forum will be attached soon!)
Fantasy, science fiction, and other liturature allow us to forget the "now" and let our imaginations run wild and free. Author Larry Niven once refered to books as "playgrounds for the mind;" step over to my books and movies page or the role-playing games page and discuss the playground equipment with me! (Forums will be coming soon here, too!)
Got a funny story to tell? Hear a good joke recently? Come on in to my "lighter side" page and forum to read and share; remember, laughter IS the best medicine!
